Reston Hospital Administration Suite

In order to accommodate additional operating rooms on the ground floor of Reston Hospital Center, the existing administration suite was relocated to another floor in an adjacent pavilion. The 7,570 sf office comprises a waiting/ reception area, multiple conference rooms, a boardroom, C-suite offices, and a pantry. The pantry was located adjacent to the large boardroom and features a passthrough to supply food catered for meetings. The floorplate, while challenging in some respects, offered the opportunity to highlight major functional areas on the gently rounded corners of the building—the boardroom and CEO’s office. Additional offices and conference rooms ring the perimeter, while transom windows allow natural light to permeate the interior. The cool palette of grey and light blue in punctuated by artwork throughout and painted accent walls in conference rooms. Furnishings selected for the space offer elegant yet durable work and meeting areas.
