For full-service IT engineering and solutions provider L2T, the need for security and privacy was balanced with the desire to foster a collaborative, creative workplace in their new 24,000 sf corporate headquarters. Several design elements keep the private office intensive environment from feeling isolated. Breakout nodes along several hallways encourage interaction outside of the offices, and most corridors terminate with windows to the outside, allowing in natural light and views. Technology intensive areas including a server room, network operations center, and meeting spaces were configured in the center of the floorplate, where privacy and security were priorities. Thousands of feet of cabling is discreetly concealed throughout the office, maintaining a clean aesthetic while meeting the office’s very 21st century technology needs. A large galley and lounge encourage the office community to gather for breaks, meals, and company events.
