For their newest regional office, information technology service provider CapTech sought an open, collaborative space that would enable them to continue to grow. With access to natural light a concern, low bench seating was placed along the outside radius of the curved building. Conference rooms and breakout spaces were prioritized over private offices; but where necessary were kept visually connected with demountable glass wall systems. While the building has lower ceiling heights than typical of new construction, the 5,485 sf office suite was kept airy and open by flattening the mechanical systems as much as possible. A large galley with bar-height seating and several booths offers a variety of gathering options for meals and office events. A vibrant pattern of the carpet is punctuated with accents of their corporate blue—creating a consistent environment among CapTech’s multiple offices.
