Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative (NOVEC) envisioned a new three-story, 60,000-square-foot headquarters in Manassas, centrally located within its service area. The headquarters will enable NOVEC to consolidate its office staff, currently spread across multiple sites. Situated adjacent to another NOVEC-owned building, the project will transform the area into a cohesive campus, revitalizing an underutilized site.
The new headquarters is prominently located on Balls Ford Road and will be visible from Interstate 66, reinforcing NOVEC’s presence in the community they service. The building features a blend of brick veneer, precast elements, and expansive glazed openings, maximizing natural light for employees. The exterior material palette complements the adjacent structure, creating a unified and visually cohesive campus.
