Architecture, Inc. worked alongside Monumental Sports & Entertainment to transform a former retail space into a temporary art gallery. The free exhibit, titled "Harry Benson: Washington D.C. Iconic Photographs for the Nation's Capital," will feature 150 photographs by renowned photojournalist Harry Benson, known for capturing images of sports icons, musicians, actors, and politicians, including every U.S. president and first lady since Dwight Eisenhower.
Among Benson's iconic works is the famous shot of Muhammad Ali playfully pretending to punch The Beatles. The exhibit will highlight photos tied to D.C., such as Watergate-era images of Bob Woodward, Carl Bernstein, as well as performances by artists like Barbara Streisand, The Who, and the Rolling Stones.
