Monumental Sports Network broadcasts underwent a remarkable transformation with the inauguration of its new headquarters at 700 Sixth St. NW, adjacent to Capital One Arena. Formerly recognized as NBC Sports Washington, the network transitioned to full ownership by Monumental Sports & Entertainment, the ownership group behind the Wizards and Capitals, in the summer of 2022. Throughout the past couple years, the network operated with makeshift facilities and production vans, but now, it is poised to embrace a new era with cutting-edge equipment and state-of-the-art studios for pregame and postgame shows.

Architecture, Inc. designed the 39,000 sf Leed-certified office centered around the newly formed broadcast studio. The suite serves as a headquarters for roles ranging from executives to ticket sales and includes a 24/7 broadcast center for simultaneous live events. Spanning two floors, the entire space is scattered with mementos, graphics, and historical displays representing the Capitals, Wizards, Mystics, and various teams and venues comprising the MSE brand. The bold use of team and brand colors, slogans, innovative lighting technology, and broadcast studio capabilities invigorate the workplace, reinforcing the staff of their mission – to broaden sports and entertainment for their fans.
